Do you like the welsh female name Ebrith?

Jus wondering, i think its lovely

xx :-) xx

Do you like the welsh female name Ebrith?
I'm Welsh and I've never heard that name before!!!

Its very pretty but it must be a very unusual one as I'm familiar with most of the traditional Welsh names!

Its nice to see someone choosing a Welsh name thats a bit different. There are some Welsh names that have become very popular lately, such as Carys (after Catherine Zeta-Jones's daughter!) Ffion etc and the Welsh word for Star, "Seren", has become very popularly used as a name, (although traditionally it never was.)

Ebrith is pretty but as I say, I've never heard of it. Is it spelt any other way or a variant of another name?

My own personal faves are Catrin (Welsh for Katherine) and Angharad. Our son was going to be Rose Catrin Angharad if he was a girl!
Reply:Its different and not too bad
