Need a welsh boys name?

My baby was due last tuesday... we are told it is more likely to be a girl but the scan was not that clear. We have our girls name Imogen but no names for boys. Dads surname is Llewelyn not easy to pair up... he wants a welsh name trouble is when we look on the web sites we cant pronounce them... any ideas - written phonetically if poss.... We have considered rhys, coel, cian, yion but can not agree.

Need a welsh boys name?
I happen to think this website is THE best for looking up baby names.

You can specify origin, meaning, country...etc.

Just do an advanced search for Welsh boys names...and you come up with a BUNCH of really great names.

Congratulations on your bundle of joy!!

...and if it's a boy...give him a good strong name :)

Hugs, health and happiness to you and yours!!

Sounds like yie-an .

Like Ieuan Evans who captained the Welsh Rugby team in the 80's.

I just noticed you have something similar in your Question, but not spelt the right way.
Reply:try this link.you will be spoilt for choice.there is that many it will probably make it harder!!!!
Reply:I've always liked the name bryn
Reply:Dafydd, then you can call him Dave when you're out of Wales.

Or after grandpa, Llewellyn (if you can get the "Ll" consonant right) then you can call him Lew, or Lewie when his grandad's out of earshot. But don't call him Gruffudd, Oh my gosh no, don't call him that, look you! Call him after an ancient king, like I was named, but of Wales (Google 'em up). At this stage, by the way, your scan should be absolutely clear. Wishing you a happy event and that your name decision will prove a wise one.
