i am having a little girl and i am using a welsh name cause i love the names. mine are Terrwyn, carys, rhedyn, arlais. what are your favorite welsh names for a girl.
I was thinking carys Arlais but people told me i should use a normal name so its going to be Carys Anabelle
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WELSH NAME?
I love Carys! :)
I also like Aderyn and Branwen; they mean "bird" and
"beautiful raven", respectively.
Welsh names are lovely, but I tend to like Hebrew, Greek, Irish, and German names more.
Reply:Rhiannon was one of my favorite Welsh names ever (and there's even a song by that name!) I love the name Ceindrych, too. It's pronounced almost like "Kendrick."
The only problem I foresee is that if the child's last name is something of a different ethnicity, it can sound kind of funny.
Reply:I don't have any welsh names, but I do have plenty of favorites from the UK!
